''Rubbish pick up''

Friday the 11th was a momentous day. 10r as a class decided to head down town to clean up our lovely surroundings and help our community out.As we walked through kawakawa we walked past a lot of pollution and rubbish that looked as if it had been there a long time.

It didn't take us a long time to walk from point a to b but by the time we had got there we had picked up 3-4 bags which was pretty disappointing to see because it meant alot of people liked to litter.

Even though we had picked up a lot of rubbish we still had fun getting out and cleaning our environment and i hope that next year will be better for us and the community we live in.

Human rights

when i think of human rights i think of power and the greed in some people that use human rights to become better in every way they can.I noticed that the poor people dont have much human rights  are mainly being used and hurt mentally and some times physically and are being robbed of there money  while the people with more human rights are becoming richer and wealthy because the more power you have the better.

Times people have been denied their human rights on a huge scale...
The holocaust caused the deaths of millions and ignored all signs of human rights.
Hitler used the power he had against the people of Germany and the world.
